Subject: united against scamming writers
Dear Ms. Jones,
Or may I call you Louise, as it seems that we are friends already. I wanted to thank you for your recent email in which you provided all-too-generous praise for my novel Beautiful Assassin https://michaelcwhite.com/project/beautiful-assassin/ Your very kind offer to help me get the book into the hands of eager readers was deeply gratifying. As a writer hungry for appreciation, I savored your kind comments, such as “I wanted to reach out because the book immediately stood out to me as the kind of historical fiction that carries far broader audience potential than its current visibility fully reflects.” Or the following: “Books with this kind of layered storytelling often benefit significantly from audience expansion strategies that reconnect the work with newer reader ecosystems over time.” Or this hearfelt comment which touched me to the core by its authenticity: “I’d genuinely love to share a few observations and ideas regarding visibility positioning, reader engagement pathways, and long-tail discoverability opportunities that could further extend the lifecycle and reach of the book.” Louise, you are so prescient. Just the other night I couldn’t sleep thinking that what my book has clearly been lacking in is “newer reader ecosystems” and “long-tail discoverability.” And into the picture you swept with your sage advice like a prayer that’s been answered.
However, because there are so many fraudulent writers out there trying to swindle unsuspecting book club promoters, I thought you might want to know that I am a genuine, bonifide writer, not some AI generated word-thief looking to profit on the unsuspecting and naive nature of book promoters such as yourself. To that end you may click on the link below to see that I am, indeed, a real author, or if you’d prefer, you might even call me directly to hear the voice of a real writer, unappreciated though I may be. And to warn you of the many scams perpetrated by deceitful writers. I thought someone as talented and capable as yourself might benefit from my ability to shine a much-deserved spotlight on your incredible work helping writers. Too many passionate book club promoters such as yourself have been underappreciated, if not downright fooled by treacherous people posing as writers asking for cash. Frankly, far too many authentic book promoters have been scammed. I can assure you that innumerable writers would flock to a deserving book promoter like yourself. Working shoulder to shoulder, I can assure you that your deserving work could use a bit of “newer reader ecosystems” and “long-tail discoverability.” I would be more than happy to help you. Just reply interested to this email and I can begin to highlight your incredible work (a small promotional fee will be required to get us started highlighting your fabulous engagement pathways; I take Venmo to make things easier).
Together, in this world of false claims and scamming writers, you and I can build your potential to what it should, and well deserves, to be.

Thank you so much, Louise, and I can’t wait to hear from you.
